Personal Statement
I am currently a Junior at Ooltewah High School in Ooltewah, Tennessee. I have been in the school system here since 8th grade and prior to moving here I attended Franklin Elementary School in Franklin, NJ. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. Started playing on a YMCA team in Corydon, Indiana. We moved to New Jersey in 2009, where I started playing soccer for a recreation team then in 5th grade, I started playing school soccer and recreation soccer. In 7th grade, I was playing for a travel team and also for a recreation team in both the spring and fall. We moved to Tennessee, where I attended 8th grade at Ooltewah Middle School and was captain of the soccer team and I made all tournament at end of the season. During the Spring at Ooltewah, Middle School, I also ran track, I ran the 800 and the Mile, coming in 4th in the county for the mile. My Freshman and Sophomore years at Ooltewah High School, I played on the Junior Varsity team. My Sophomore and this my Junior year, I am playing for the Chattanooga Football Club Academy, and I am also doing supplemental training once a week.
I have kept a 3.0 or higher since I have attended Ooltewah Middle School and also Ooltewah High School. I am currently taking International Baccalaureate French and I work a part-time time job. This spring at high school, I plan on running track and during the winter I will be playing on an indoor soccer team and possibly trying out for the high school swim team.
I believe I would be a great asset to any program because I am able to play multiple positions in soccer, such as center back, left mid-fielder, right mid-fielder, and any fullback position. I am eager to learn new tactics and I am a very hard worker. I am excited about coming to college to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy and to play at a collegiate level.
