Matthew Pinzon '25 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate aspirations are to obtain a good education while at the same time playing the sport that I love so much, soccer. I have been playing club soccer since I was 4 years old, which allowed me to develop to be the soccer player that I am today. Currently, I play with at Solar Soccer Club team and at the high school varsity team, which I joined in my freshman year. One of my best skills is that I easily create opportunities for goals. In addition, I often help organize the offense and the defense during the game. It is my goal to continue playing soccer at the college level. Being in the STEM Academy at the Arlington Independent School district (Arlington, TX) has prepared me for college level education with a rigorous curriculum of Advanced and/or AP classes since freshman year. Through my high school years I have been able to develop the discipline, knowledge, and organization skills necessary to excel at school work and soccer at the same time.
