Since I began playing soccer at nine or ten, the sport has profoundly shaped my life. Initially a fun activity, soccer became a serious pursuit about a year ago, with aspirations to play Division 1 and eventually go pro. The discipline and perseverance soccer demands have instilled in me a strong work ethic and resilience. Refereeing for young kids since age 13 has shown me the importance of giving back, sharing my passion, and fostering community. Soccer has also taught me vital skills in teamwork, communication, and leadership, creating a sense of belonging and strong friendships. Soccer is more than a game to me; it drives me to be my best, offers growth opportunities, and strengthens my community ties. I am grateful for its impact on my life and those around me as I strive for my dreams.
