I started playing soccer when I was 4 years old, and from the beginning, I knew that it was the sport for me. Of course, I only know that now, and I hope to continue my soccer career at the college level. I've dedicated my whole life to this sport and have always been willing to go the extra mile to complete what needs to be done. I know at the college level, I will still be willing to do the same.
My coaches have always told me that I was a hard worker and a leader to all the young guys on the team, but also that I'm a great listener with good coachability. I am willing to adapt and change to whatever the college situation is like, and I hope that I will continue to be a leader to those on my team.
Sports have always been important to me, but even more important are academics. People get to play sports for only so long, and it's what we learn in school that decides what will happen in our lives after sports. I always make time for my studies, no matter how tired I am and always persevere throughout the struggle, because I know that whatever lies ahead is worth the present struggle.
