My name is Patricio Solis and I’ve been playing the beautiful game ever since I was able to run. My entire life and decisions I make revolve around soccer and the opportunities it provides me. I was born and raised in Mcallen, Texas but I now live in Austin, Texas as a boarder at St. Stephen's Episcopal School. Therefore, I’ve been living with myself for the past 3 years in order to pursue my dreams of learning and playing at the highest level. I believe that this experience sets me apart from others because I have developed many skills such as: independence, accountability, time management, responsibility, and the ability to easily adapt to college life.
I generally play as a center attacking mid, but I can play anywhere in midfield. Mainly because my best aspects as a player is the ability to open space, find spaces with passes, and also my vision of the game. I would love to play for a program that is competitive academically and athletically where I can contribute to the success of the program.
Over the past three years I have worked really hard to get to the point where I am now rostered on the Lonestar U18/19 DA program. I believe that I am a hard worker and a great team player and I if I wasn’t I wouldn’t be where I am today. I want to make my parents proud and reward them for all they have invested into my future by playing college soccer at a competitive level and pursue the opportunities of playing professionally.
