My goal is to take soccer as far as I can and continue to work within or along side the sports industry.
I am a good candidate for collegiate ball because I am an excellent leader on and off the pitch which sets me apart from a lot of other players. I am a leader verbally and non verbally because not only do I communicate with my team on the field I also find it important to not only set the tone for the rest of the team but also to keep the team in a positive and more productive mindset.
I have a much higher than average Soccer IQ and am able to accurately anticipate runs, lanes, and opportunities better than most players
I am extremely coachable and focused when it is time to work. I am willing to listen to and try anything that a coach may offer that will ethically give me and my team a competitive edge against others and improve my skill set.
I show drive, spirit, determination, and discipline.
I take pride in and understand the significance of my attributes for growth.
My passion and determination for this sport is what helped guide me to lead a more proactive lifestyle in terms of feeding my mind and my body so I can go as far as I can athletically and academically. Ever since I was young, my parents have had a no pass no play policy. One year in middle school, I let my grades drastically deteriorate and my parents made me leave my club team because I was not putting effort into my academics. I couldn't play club soccer for over a year, yes it was a long year of self reflection. Going through that process is what made me realize how important education is if I wanted to continue playing soccer. Now that I'm a senior in high school, I have realized the value of education and also furthering my education if I am to be successful in life.
