Dane Tinkis '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dane Cannon Tinkis. I just graduated Grapevine High School in Grapevine Tx. My passion has been soccer since I was six years old. I have played in select soccer since age nine as a goalkeeper, and have played this position ever since. I am dedicated and driven in all that I do on and off the field. Im currently on my fourth year varsity soccer team at my high school, as well as play on a Division One select soccer, NPL and ECRL travel team. I also strive and believe in high academics and maintain straight "A" honor roll student. My intension's are to play soccer at the collegiate level and pursue my career path as an orthopedic surgeon or physical therapist. I'm a team leader on and off the field. One of the main reasons why I love being a goalie is because I get to help my team by giving them directions and help organize plays to better the team. My coaches evaluations are consistent in stating my character as a driven hardworking and dedicated team player.
