My name is Jordan Messina, I'm a 15 year-old striker / forward, and a Sophomore at Grapevine High School (Texas), class of 2026.
Now:
I am currently the striker for a select team - Dallas Surf 08B Struminskyj.
At Grapevine High School, I primarily play as a forward for the JV1 Men's Soccer Team.
As a striker, I'd describe my style as a heavy speed attacker. I thrive on counter-attacks and through balls. I proactively read the field and make the right passes to my teammates. I'm primarily right-footed, but have a strong left foot. My teammates and coaches have referred to me as a field general, as I communicate well and enjoy leading my team to victories!
Future:
My aspiration is to play collegiate level soccer for a D1 or D2 college/university, and I eventually plan on going pro. I plan to major in Kinesiology in college, as I see myself eventually coaching and training athletes.
Past:
I started playing rec level soccer when I was 6 years old for Grapevine-Southlake Soccer Association. I excelled at rec soccer and started playing up two age groups.
At 12 years-old, I was recruited to a Classic 1 soccer club called Solar, where I played up an age group for an '07 team. I played for Solar for 1 season before I was asked to try out for Evolution (my last club team).
Past Sports:
Grapevine High School - 9th Grade:
Cross Timbers Middle School - 7th & 8th Grade:
