Tyler Thompson '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tyler Thompson and I am a 6’2”/175 lb winger/striker from Grapevine High School and also play for the Dallas Texans 09 ECNL Academy team. I am a versatile team player as the top goal scorer for the 24-25 season at GHS and as a winger/striker with the #1 ECNL team in the region (#3 in the nation).

I have a 4.6 GPA currently at Grapevine High School class of 2027. I have been selected as an early identifier for the PSAT National Merit Scholar Program. I am currently an incoming captain of the GHS Varsity Men’s Soccer team, the President of the Grapevine Chapter of the Young Men’s Service League, Co-Founder and President of the service club Caring Cooks, a state finalist in DECA, and a member of the GHS Student Council and Fellowship of Christian Athletes group. For the 24-25 ECNL season, my club team went undefeated in Seattle at playoffs and advanced to he semi-finals (final 4) in Richmond. I am a 2x ECNL Texas Conference champion (23/24 with Solar 09 ECNL Academy, 24/25 with Dallas Texans 09 ECNL Academy). Also, I was named Newcomer of the Year for Grapevine-Colleyville ISD, 1st Team All-District, Grapevine High School Offensive Player of the Year, and All-District Honorable Mention.
