Personal Statement
Soccer has always been part of me and my family. I started playing competitive soccer at the age of 6 and I've grown up surrounded by people who love the sport and watch it very frequently. I have been a leader and an example in all the teams I've played for, and my coaches recognize me as a particularly vocal and smart player. My teammates see me as an extremely reliable and crafty dribbler with notable work-rate and superb vision. I would say that my best attributes are definitely my dribbling and passing as well as my soccer IQ. As a Left-Winger/ Central Attacking-Midfielder, I extremely enjoy creating dangerous plays off the wing for my team and dishing out excellent passes to my teammates, as well as scoring goals. To me, connecting with my team and building a bond and a strong chemistry is remarkably important because everything will be facilitated on the field. I'd like to attend a college with a very good academic environment as well as an extremely competitive environment. Competing at a high-level is very important to me because I truly enjoy the challenge and I want to be the best at everything I do. Academics are also extremely important to me and my family, and I truly believe that I need to focus both on sports and academics in order to be the best student athlete out there.
