Ieuan Smithard '20 Recruiting Profile

My prime focus is on academic achievement and successful acceptance as a graduate student to Texas A&M Veterinarian College, which will be extremely challenging.

Sports-wise, I have focused on soccer since 8th grade, having previously also played basketball. Since that time I have  concentrated on goalkeeping, and developed the particular soccer and leadership skills for that position.

I am young for my grade, and will enter college at age 17. But I am also quite tall, and expect to reach 6’6” minimum. I am used to the age gap - and was varsity starter goalie at 15, and JV at 14.

I have an appreciation of all peoples. I was born in South Africa, and then taken to Angola, before moving to Texas. I have travelled to Europe, Africa, and throughout the USA.  My HS is extremely diverse, with more than 50 nationalities, and I am Tri-lingual: English, Spanish, Chinese.
