Juan Soler '22 Recruiting Profile

On the pitch - I play striker and center attacking mid.  I am recognized for performing at a high level and I have a spirit of relentless improvement on the field. I started playing soccer in South America and Mexico, where I lived before moving to the US in 2015.  I’ve had the privilege of being recognized as MVP in my middle school team and selected as an ODP South Texas pool prospect in the four years that I participated - 2016, 2017, 2019 & 2020-. I’ve been “recruited” to play Varsity football by the head coach as he saw my potential while playing soccer to help the football team as the main Kicker/Punter – by the way reaching for the first time ever the Championship of our division! For me it is about the game, my commitment to the sport and making my teammates feel supported when I am on the pitch.  I love the game and my happiest place is on the field.
