Personal Statement

To begin with, I will like to give some information about me, I was born in Mexico as well as my parents and sisters, but when I was younger our family was moved to Brazil, thus I was raised there for a big part of my life. I've always been a very athletic kid, I started doing martial arts when I was around 4, I did multiple martial arts including Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Jiu-Jitsu and Muay-Thai. I got to black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and orange in Judo and Jiu-Jitsu, and yellow in Muay-Thai. As well as practicing all these sports I started playing soccer when I was 5 and I fell in love with this sport until this day, I'm a very experienced soccer player because I have played in three different countries, including Mexico, Brazil, and the US, and I have had to adapt to new ways of playing like different styles and tactics. In conclusion, I come from a very athletic and extremely competitive background. Apart from being a very experienced player, I believe I would be a great candidate for a team because I'm a very positive and helpful player, I'm the type of player that makes every teammate keep our heads up during the best and worst moments. I'm a very competitive player, I don't like losing, thus I do my best outside and inside the pitch to win; I'm a very hardworking athlete. One of my best characteristics, in my opinion, it's my dedication, I'm a very dedicated player/student. I always arrive in time for my training sessions, I try to work double as hard as anyone to get better, in my free time, I'm looking and think about what to do to become better and improve. In my free time depending on what I'm lacking in, I go the soccer filed and train what I need to improve on, or if not I got the weight room to improve my strength and become stronger. I'm always working hard because I know there are people out there doing the same and maybe even more, thus I like to push myself even further. Adding on I believe that I'm a great candidate because I'm the type of player that communicates during the game in any circumstance. I adjust very easily to many situations, whether its a position or style of playing. What makes me different from other recruits apart from all characteristics listed is that I speak 4 languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese and French, thus it helps me communicate and build connections as well as chemistry with other players, I'm very social and make friends fast. I'm also a very hardworking student/athlete, whenever I have the opportunity I like to take it and do the best out of it because I know nothing is easy and nothing is free.
