Rocky Perez '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Rocky Perez, I am an attacking/defensive midfielder from San Antonio FC USL professional team in the class of 2022. I am one of only a few prospects apart of a professional USL team and I am also apart of the US national team player pool. My freshman year was my first year of being exposed into a professional USL environment, making my professional debut vs Cardiff FC and being rostered for three USL games nearing the end of the season. I am currently a junior and am now full time with the USL team looking to make an impact in my upcoming third season at the professional level. I am looking for a prestigious school with a top quality soccer program for me to progress both on the field and in the classroom.

My work doesn’t end on the field. In the classroom I have maintained high academic rigor and kept a high gpa throughout my high school years. I believe school is just as important as soccer and strive to be successful both on the field and in the classroom.

Athletics are in my genes, both my parents went on to play division one sports in college. My dad played quarterback at the University of Utep and went on to play semi pro arena football. My mom played basketball at the University of Utep.
