I started recreational soccer when I was four years old and simply loved running around the field and scoring goals. I played baseball and soccer until I was 10 years old when I chose to focus solely on soccer.
After joining a competitive program, my true love of the game began. I worked hard on my technical skills along with my soccer IQ by watching YouTube videos and consistently practicing at home in addition to my club training. I was therefore promoted to a higher team with each passing season.
My most recent experience is playing in the Elite Academy League where I am a starter for my 07 boys team. I was also selected for the Texas Conference Elite Talent ID where I scored the first goal of the game.
I am dedicated to improving not only my own skills but also contributing to a strong team dynamic. As a midfielder, I aim to be a playmaker by looking for strategic through balls and smart, simple passes that keep possession. .
I carry my competitive nature into the classroom as well, which is reflected in my high GPA with a course load of advanced and AP classes. My favorite courses are math and science, but I also love to read all kinds of fiction. I plan to study physics in college and intend to get an advanced degree so that I can work at NASA. Outside of school, I volunteer at the local food bank and also worked as an umpire during little league baseball season.
