I was never given anything easy when it came to soccer. Up until a year ago I was always the smallest guy on the field. I knew that to make it to a high level, I had to control the things I could control. I had to work harder than anyone I went up against, I had to think three steps ahead, and I had to be a leader and positive attitude on the field. That's how I approach everything in life: no matter what kind of disadvantage I have or what I'm going up against, I will not be outworked.
