Jose Espinoza '23 Recruiting Profile

I'm Jose Espinoza and I am a junior in Springtown High School in Texas. I have been in sports my whole life and I have been playing soccer since Freshman year. I love to play soccer on my free time, and I love to watch professional soccer. I have learned a lot over the years. As a player I am very coachable, I have speed, physicality, vision, and composure, and I have strengths in both the technical and tactical aspects of the game. For the third year in a row, I am a starting left/right back on my varsity soccer team. I have played winger in the past, so I also have the stamina of a winger and strength of a defender. I always have and always will put my team first on the field. I am a hard-working student with excellent grades, so my academic goals are very important to me in addition to my sports goals. I have been in cross country from 8th grade to sophomore year and I hope I could get noticed to be able to play soccer in a college with a serious program where I can contribute in a meaningful way for the team.
