Maxwell Dufner '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Max Dufner.  It is very important to me and my family that I attend and graduate with an undergraduate degree and then go on to a graduate degree program.  I have been looking for programs in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or Sports Training.  I believe education is key to my success.  In addition to getting a good education, I also want to continue my soccer career at the collegiate level.  Soccer is a sport that gives me confidence and allows me to set goals for myself.  I have played soccer since the age of 5.  I have been on club/travel  teams since the age of 8.  Soccer is a passion of mine.  I love to watch and play the game.  I am a hard worker in both school and on the soccer field.  I am physically fit and am constantly challenging myself to get stronger, faster, and better.  I get along well with coaches, teachers, and peers and respect people who are in an authoritative position over me.  I feel I would be a great asset to a soccer team because I can play several positions and have a natural left foot.  I know the game of soccer well but I always want to continue learning. I would really enjoy and welcome the opportunity to play soccer in college, while working on my degree.
