Ryan Stead '25 Recruiting Profile

Playing collegiate soccer is a life goal. I've been part of a soccer team since I was 4 years old, starting from rec soccer, to travel soccer, to High School; I love the competition, personal challenge, and the life-long friendships. Soccer fosters an inclusive community, where language and background barriers are often non-existent, building global connections through the shared love the game. I want to continue that experience. I consider myself to be respectful and coachable, knowing that all feedback strengthens my knowledge and understanding of the game while raising my level of play. I look for ways to share my love and passion for the game by volunteering to help coach younger players. I have been actively involved with a local community program to help special needs children through soccer. 

Academically, I'm seeking an environment to support my interest in Science, Technology, and Engineering. I currently take several honors courses, with the intention to include AP courses starting my junior year. My goal is to attend an academically strong institution that will best support my goals to one day start and run my own business.
