Dylan Patel '19 Recruiting Profile

My goals after finishing high school at Rock Ridge will be to continue my academic and athletic dreams at the collegiate level.  Academically I want to become a lawyer and continue my path towards a successful career, and athletically, I want to achieve my dream of being an integral part of a collegiate soccer team.  I take tremendous pride in my efforts to be the best both on the field and in the classroom.

On the soccer field, I can play many positions as I can understand tactics very well, and despite not being of very tall stature I bring a physical, yet technical presence to the game.  I am best at outside back because of my great combination of defensive prowess and decisive run-making to get in crosses and help build-up play.  Over the years, I have come to become a very coachable, dedicated, and hard-working player; I am someone who is always playing, watching, or understanding soccer.  My hopes are to further develop my abilities at the collegiate level, and help the college for who I play for to win and be successful. 

Academically, I am a very intellectual student, both years I maintained a GPA (weighted) above a 4.0.  I continue to strive to gain knowledge and maintain my grades throughout high school.  I hope that my dedication to my school work comes to a fruitful conclusion with a successful career in law.  

I am excited to continue my endeavors both athletically and academically at the collegiate level.  My standards for myself and the college I hope to find are greatly important to me, as I search for colleges nationally.
