A few years ago, not making my travel team was absolutely devastating. I thought things would not get better from here and my dreams of furthering my soccer career would be over. But instead of giving up, I worked harder than I ever had, to prove to people that doubted me were wrong. I came back stronger than ever by committing myself to years of intense training. Currently I am on a team that is very good and we continue to get better every practice. Not only am I focused on the field, but in the classroom as well. As soon as I get home, homework is the first thing I do. My goal for high school is to maintain my current GPA (3.87) and also to get it even higher. The sky is the limit.
When things do not look good, most people fold under the pressure. Not me, I do my best to work through it and push through whatever barrier is in front of me. Whether that is mental or physical. I absolutely love the game, I want to be affiliated with soccer my whole life including in my career. It truly is "The Beautiful Game".
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
