Personal Statement

When I get out of school I wish to play professional soccer or be an athletic trainer or a sports medicine doctor. I am a well rounded soccer player who can play many positions and perform well. I am an easy person to get along with and I do not cause distractions. I am able to stay focused on the current game and not worry about the next game or the last game. I am a fast player and I am able to mislead opponents so they don't know what I am going to do or where I am going to go. On the field I can think fast and make the best decision for the team. I have a fast reaction time so I can quickly adjust my position to receive a stray ball and to play a ball that is not in the best position to be played. I never give up on a game no matter what the score is, how my teammates act, or how much time is left. As long as there is time on the clock, we have a chance to change the game. I can focus easily in a classroom and I can catch on fast. I am not a trouble maker and I am able to keep good grades while playing soccer.

Alex has played for me the last 2 years at the Club Travel Level in the Richmond, Williamsburg and Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Alex is a goal oriented, dedicated and self-motivated individual. His work ethic is outstanding. His competitive nature makes him an outstanding performer under pressure. He also displays sportsmanship at all times and is an excellent role model. He is well respected by his teammates and is extremely unselfish. He is a rising sophomore at Hickory High School in Chesapeake, VA. The school has one of the top soccer programs in the state which helps in his on field development. He works very hard and playing the #10 position, which gives him the best opportunity to be successful. Alex is well disciplined, courteous, responsible and extremely reliable. Alex has the potential to excel at the college level, if he continues his current work regiment. He constantly has a ball on his foot, allowing him to continue to develop both his feet, shooting, passing. Alex needs to continue to build his strength which will make him more competitive player. Alex started playing soccer with our club several years ago and my interactions with him have grown tremendously over the years.
