Alex Keeton '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches. my name is Alex Keeton and I am a student at Western Albemarle High school in Crozet, Virginia (Class of 2023) where my team recently won the 2022 Class 4 State Championship.  I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and have been blessed with playing on multiple continents with previous club teams.  I have worked hard on and off the field to be successful in the sport and was just recently named to the VHSL All State, First Team.  

I am excited to explore an opportunity to further my academic and athletic career at the collegiate level. I am interested in a school with a positive environment that can help me grow as a person, a student, and an athlete. As a student, I have maintained a 3.8 GPA while playing multiple varsity sports as well as club soccer.  I have an interest in Business, but I am currently undecided on a collegiate curriculum.  

As a soccer player, I strive to be a hard worker and unselfish teammate.  I work hard on my fitness and nutrition off the field so I can be as effective in the 90th minute as I am in the 1st minute.  I chase every loose ball in my vicinity and I am constantly looking to disrupt touches on the back line. I thrive in the attacking third and attacking towards goal. I play as a true 9 and am very comfortable with my back towards goal. I also have experience playing on the width and attacking midfielder.
