Thomas (Tucker) Durham '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Tucker Durham, I am currently 16 years old and I am a junior at Glen Allen High School. I am looking forward to my third consecutive season on the school team this spring! I have been playing attacking and outside midfielder for club and high school for the past 3 years.

It has always been my dream to play soccer at the collegiate level since I started playing when I was 10 years old. I am very passionate about competing and I believe that taking that with me to the collegiate level would be an incredible opportunity while I pursue my education.

I feel that I would be a great candidate for your team because I am very hardworking and I am always the first person to pick up and support my teammates no matter what happens. I think that the thing that makes me different from others is throughout all the loses and challenges that I will face throughout the season, I am just as gracious and optimistic as I am during the wins and good moments! Another thing that sets me apart from other recruits is my community service work. In 2015, I was honored by Prudential as the top middle school fundraiser in the state of Virginia for my fundraising and community work with VCU's Massey Cancer Center.  This is one of the accomplishments I am most proud of off the soccer field.
