My name is Ernesto Gomez, part of class of 2026, I'm a 17 year old that is a confident and determined student-athlete with humble beginnings and a strong passion for soccer. I'm an upcoming senior in the class of 2026, attending William Fleming High School in Roanoke, Virginia and on the path to valedictorian (GPA 4.4/4.0). My dream is to reach the college level while growing my education, and eventually make it to the big leagues professionally. I am dedicated to working hard every day to achieve this goal, and I am willing to overcome any challenge in my way. I am a very versatile player, playing in many positions before, recently playing more at center mid and center back. I've played for many teams and leagues before, including ECNL and NPL with Virginia United, varsity high school soccer the past three years, the Roanoke Spanish League, and many high level leagues in Mexico. My strengths are my defending, my composure, my passing, and my playmaking, as well as my communication. I was taught to believe in having academic success and strong work ethic on and off the field is important since I was a kid. What separates me from my recruits is my constant work, my mentality and my versatility. I'm constantly working towards this goal, as well as keeping my mental game at it's best.
