Playing D3 soccer while pursuing computer science is exactly what I'm looking for in college. I want to keep competing at a high level without having to choose between the sport I love and my academic goals. This past season, my ECNL Regional team took first place in our league, which showed me what it's like to be part of something bigger than myself. The grind of training, traveling for games, and pushing through when we were down 2-0 at halftime—those moments have shaped who I am. But honestly, some of my proudest moments come off the field too. I've maintained a 4.33 GPA while taking 8 AP classes (scored 4s and 5s on my exams), got accepted into Academies of Loudoun (a competitive STEM magnet school), and started developing an ML startup that uses computer vision to scan and sort trash. I've logged 70+ volunteer hours and I want to bring that same energy to a college program. I'm not trying to go pro—I'm trying to find a team that values smart, hard-working players who will battle for every ball and still show up ready to contribute in the classroom and community.
