My main goal in college is to graduate and afterwards go and have a great career. I would also love to have a great college experience, and something I think would accomplish the making of a great college experience, is playing college soccer. It was one of my biggest aspirations as a child to play for a college team and maybe even win trophies with them. Something I think that makes me a good candidate for coaches' team is that captain or not, I can be a leader on and off the field. If my teammate is having a bad game, I feel that it is my job to try and motivate them and to do better on the next play. Off the field, I try to help anyone I can. As a Hispanic kid growing up in Loudoun County, opportunities are hard to come by, but the only way to make it is to work hard. I try to give 200% into all my classes and on the field, and if I don't finish with a grade I'm happy with in one quarter, I work harder to do better in the next one. I have the belief that if I didn't work as hard as possible for 90 minutes on the field, then I did not play a great game. That's what makes me different from other recruits, I'm persistent, hard working, and very dedicated to everything I do. Something that also might make me different from other recruits is that I believe I have something to fight for, which is showing my family that I've made it to college and that I will graduate and make them proud. Something else that I want to fight for is to show students from my high school, that no matter where we come from, we can make it. Academically speaking, I try to get the best grades every quarter, I also participate a lot in school, I'm in the National Honors Society and National English Honors Society.
