“I’m not done yet.” That would be my response to my parents when they would want me to come in for dinner on those summer nights when I was out practicing in our yard, of course, I did go inside. I play soccer for the love of the sport and the love of competing. There is nothing like the sweet sound of a cleanly struck ball. In general, I love competing both on the field against the other team, and off the field in training against myself.
For me, playing at the collegiate level is a goal. I have the defensive skills to shut down the opposition and the ability to draw fouls with a quick first touch. I strive to take the advice of my coaches and am always working on improving my game and supporting the team. On and off the field, I work on being a leader for others. In school, I do my best to maintain a high GPA. I would like to attend a college that fits with what I want to study and gives me the best chance to develop as a player and play at the highest level.
