Isaiah Lopez '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Isaiah Lopez, and I am a goalkeeper from Williamsburg, Virginia, graduating in the Class of 2027. I come from a proud Army family with over 50 years of combined military service, and I bring that same discipline, resilience, and commitment to the field. I currently have a 3.7 GPA and am passionate about excelling both academically and athletically at the collegiate level.

I’ve developed my game through experience at Bruton High School, earning a JV roster spot as an 8th grader and continuing through my sophmore year. During my sophomore year, I made the Varsity roster as well, where we competed for the Virginia 2A State Championship and finished as runner-up. I’ve also competed with the Tidewater Sharks and am currently in my second year with the Virginia Legacy travel program, where I continue to refine my technical skills and tactical awareness.

While my primary position is goalkeeper, I also have experience as a Center Defensive Mid and Center Attacking Mid, which has sharpened my footwork, field vision, and distribution. As a keeper, I take pride in my shot-stopping ability, quick decision-making, and vocal leadership from the back line.

I’m always looking to improve, and I’m seeking a college program where I can contribute, grow, and be challenged both on the field and in the classroom.
