Personal Statement

My name is Jeffrey Eng and I’m currently a central defensive midfielder for the Pacific Northwest Soccer Club 07/08 ECNL-RL team.  I will be graduating in 2026 and attend Kennedy Catholic High School in Burien, Washington where I started for the varsity soccer team since freshman year.

My goal is to continue playing soccer in college and beyond. Physically, I’ve worked hard over the years to improve my skillset, fitness, and vision on the field, while being very coachable.  Academically, I’m taking a mix of AP and Honors classes while maintaining an unweighted GPA of 3.99.

I  plan to attend a university where I can push myself in the classroom and on the soccer pitch.  I am looking for a university which has a strong STEM program and I plan to major in Computer Science.

Outside activities include both a center and assistant soccer referee.  I also volunteer with my soccer club and high school, where I've been a team lead on various projects.
