As a kid, I loved playing many sports like basketball, football, swimming. Those sports never was something I enjoy doing and decided to not commit to any of those. Around the age 11, I seen my classmates play soccer at a huge fence my school had that was used as a goal. I went to them to play, and learned the basics like how to kick and to pass. As I kept playing, I met new friends that also loved soccer and told me about futsal (indoor soccer) program that looked fun and decided to apply and play. It was only me, my brother and a few friends at that program, but the trainer there taught me a lot about the sport and helped me learn different skills using a soccer ball. Sadly, the program ended due to the trainer having a kid, but I never gave up on trying to find teams to play in. Many of those teams I was in never fully committed into their teams they organized. I would always practice with my brother to better understand the sport and watched many game highlights of other pro soccer players to see what they did when they are on the field. Many years later, I got a lot better and made soccer was my passion for the future. When I was in my first year of high school, I made sure to apply for the soccer team, but during that time, there was Covid, so it made it hard to properly train and get to know the teammates, but I always gave it best for my team. As my high school years went by, I got a lot more better thanks to the coach and would start almost ever game. It’s my last year of high school and I want it to be the best year for me and my teammates. I’m always committed to continue to train and build confidence, so I can have my family see me on T.V.
