My main goal has always been continuous improvement. Soccer has been my passion since childhood, and the field has always been my happy place. To turn that love into achievement, I started doing before and after-school workouts to shape my body for peak performance and stay engaged for a full 90 minutes. The work started to pay off when I made the MLS Next team at the Barcelona Residency Academy, where I gave the team my all for two years. Going to Barcelona Residency Academy was the best decision I made for my soccer career so far, by being on my own i learned self sufficiency, how to live with roommates and gained lots of personable skills. I thrived in the Residency part of the academy which in turn led to me becoming a better player on the field. That was evident when my coach made me team captain after my first three months at Barca, showing my commitment to the academy. Unfortunately, I had to leave Barca due to my fathers passing in January of 2024, I needed to put my family first, so I transferred schools back to my hometown. This caused a 7 month break from club soccer but playing has always made me feel better so i continued to train multiple times a week and then eventually joined my high school team in the spring. During this difficult time, soccer practice became my favorite part of the day because I loved that playing took my mind off other things. The dedication i showed in practice led to me having the most field player minutes and winning the league trophy. My dream college would be one that allows me the ability to continue my number one goal of always improving and a place where the team has a tight bond and the atmosphere is full of encouragement and determination. Learning in every aspect of life is very important to me, and i would love to attend a school that offers a great soccer program and top tier academics. I will the be person that will put in the work to bring myself to a new level but also the team in every aspect of life
