Finn Hanson '24 Recruiting Profile

I love learning how the world works and have a sincere passion for soccer. I also enjoy skiing, F1 racing, fighter planes, and an intense clash royal battle. I am not exactly sure what I would like to do someday, but I do know I would like to go into the STEM fields while competing alongside my future college soccer coaches and teammates. I am focused on being the best version of myself and am a motivated person. I spend very little time on social media and feel like most of it is a waste of time. I like to spend my time with friends and family in person. One of my favorite compliments from a past club soccer coach that describes me well: “Finn, you are my last one.” This has stuck with me and all the teams that I have played with since, I continue to be trusted as ‘the last one' (last line of defense). In addition to my speed, I use my height for corners. My ability to produce long throw in’s into the box creates additional scoring opportunities. I am usually quiet off the field but a leader on the field. I have the ability to direct my team on both sides of the field and act as an example of character to my teammates.
