Luis Ylizaliturri '22 Recruiting Profile

I was born in Monterrey, Mexico and moved to Appleton Wisconsin at the age of 8 due to my father’s engineering career. This was a huge change for my family and I but overtime, I learned to adapt to a new language, culture and environment. Academically, I’ve always been a top of the class student, currently taking AP, Honor and Higher grade classes. Moving to a new country did not change that. Athletically I’ve been playing soccer for as long as I can remember. I was born with a passion for the sport. In the field, as a central midfielder I connect my teammates around me and constantly generate plays and chances for goal. I have played as an outside midfielder before as well, so I am flexible in that aspect. I play for my High school and for club team and have done well adapting to  different teams like I’ve learned to adapt outside the pitch in the past.
