Teig OKelly '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Teig O’Kelly; I play right back for 2003 St Croix Academy Elite Premiere in Minnesota. I have been fortunate to always attain my soccer goals and am looking forward to attaining my next goal of playing college soccer.  Since early childhood, every club team on which I have played has reached its highest potential, advancing my teams to the next level including State Cup Champs and Midwest National Premiere Champs. Summer 2019, Generation Adidas paid for my team to train with Real Madrid after winning the Las Vegas Cup.  My infectious, positive, hard working energy both in training and games contributes to this success.  My strong endurance, athleticism, size (height 6’1 and weight 175#), speed, and excellent vision allows me to be not only a play-maker but allows my team to perform at its best.  I have played all positions, but I particularly enjoy playing outside back for 3 reasons: 1- my accurate passing can find all 10 teammates;  2 - I can be very physical on defense and then burst forward to play offense; 3 - I can control the pace of the game and create scoring potentials with my long ball throws.  

I plan on contributing to my future college school by playing in a fashion most similar to Benjamin Pavard.  Pavard’s accurate long ball, versatility, and determination are characteristics we share.
