I have been playing soccer ever since I was 5 years old. Starting at a local level, I eventually joined the competitive level team I am on now (Rush Wisconsin). I play high school soccer at Madison Country Day School in the Fall and play club in the Spring/Summer. I also participate in a Futsal League over the winter and early spring. Recently I was able to try out and was invited to join the Wisconsin ODP (Olympic Development Program), I am playing on this team this summer and hope to continue to progress to regional or national levels.
I am a very coachable athlete, looking to grow my skills every time I touch the field/ball. Three of my strongest abilities on the field are Speed, Strength, and Dribbling. I believe these are the main abilities that allow me to successfully play on the wings and up top. I can also play in the back if needed, as I played that position for most of my life before I moved up.
As much passion as I put into my athletics, I put that same amount, if not more, into my education. I have always been told by my parents, "Education first, athletics second." I think this is what has allowed me to keep myself at such a high level at school. Getting good grades, and furthering my education is extremely important to me. I am hoping to continue this through the rest of my high-school years and then into college.
It has always been my dream to play high-level professional soccer, and college soccer is an extremely crucial part of my journey. Going through a high-level college program would be a great way for me to grow my skills on and off the pitch, and get one step closer to my dream.
