Aidan Varela '22 Recruiting Profile

I have a strong passion for soccer. I will play anywhere and at anytime. Soccer has giving me some of the best experiences of my life but also some of the most challengingly. My high school completed our first ever varsity season last Spring. It was a tough season but it gave me the opportunity to learn so much about myself as a player and person. This season I was moved from attacking midfield to outside midfield in the middle of season because my coach wanted more speed on the outside. It was really cool to get a chance to play a position that play in club and apply what I know to my high school season. This season especially has made me realize that I want to play soccer at the next level. I want the opportunity be challenged and improve.
