My interest in swimming started when I was 10 years old because I dreamed of being a Navy SEAL. The brotherhood of being part of an elite team gave me the drive to challenge myself in swimming. Since that time I began swimming, the adrenaline of competition and succeeding in events has fueled that desire. To swim at the collegiate level is a dream of mine that I know I can achieve.

I’m the middle child of three from an Air Force family. The experience of living on multiple military installations throughout the United States has afforded me the opportunity to meet new and diverse people. Additionally the challenges of adapting to new environments have made me very resilient. I am a hard working, loyal, kind hearted person who is energized by being around people.  My core values of excellence, integrity and service are my framework. I am a believer in teamwork.
