Hello, I am Nick Rosenstiel. I am 6'1 and 165 lbs. I am currently enrolled at Naperville Central High School where my main focus is academics but I have always been involved in sports. Up until my sophomore year of high school I participated in football, swimming and water polo. I now just swim and play water polo. I have been swimming competitively since I was about eight years old. I have been with several different swim clubs over the years including the YMCA, Mavericks Swim Club and presently Academy Bullets. I also swim for my local pool over the summer while also swimming club. I have been swimming Varsity for my high school team since my sophomore year. I believe my best attribute in swimming is my resilience in the pool. I have continued to work hard and improve my times. I have had the privilege of representing my school in Sectionals and State. This year I attended Junior Nationals in Orlando, Florida for Academy Bullets. After witnessing the competitiveness of those big meets and seeing long hours in the pool pay off it was an easy decision to continue swimming during my college years. Academics will be a strong focus in college, I would like to pursue a degree in computer science. I have always found that swimming provides focus and discipline which will work well for me in college. I am looking forward to college swimming and would welcome the opportunity to be an asset for the right team!
