2020 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I have been swimming since I first learned how, but I did not swim competitively until my freshman year. I quickly felt in my element. I work every day to improve myself and have seen the results as I continue in competitions. I have found that I get a great deal of personal satisfaction from helping others learn, whether it is helping my teammates on turns during practice or working with the kids in our swim lessons during the summer. I find that I am drawn to coaching as a result of my experiences around swimming.
