Tate Peterson '24 Recruiting Profile

   I have been swimming competitively since I was 8 years old. Since my first relay race as an 8-year-old where I had great success in catching another swimmer as an anchor, I knew that swimming was for me. I love the competitiveness of touching the wall before my opponent and looking up at the clock to see my improvement in time.  I also love to compete as a team with my friends. I feel that I use coaching feedback to improve my strokes and push myself to be my very best. I swim year round and I have recently worked on adding more muscular strength by training in the weight room. I am a hard worker who is willing to set goals and push myself to achieve new personal bests.

   In the classroom I enjoy Math and in my junior year, I earned the high achievement award for my class. I enjoy solving math problems and learning new concepts that will continue to grow my mathematical abilities. I am looking to study Accounting in college.
