My name is Matthew Chan. A normal name and a quite common name. But swimming has made me stood out. Beginning my swimming career at Metuchen-Edison YMCA, I opened myself to basic training. Fairly short practices but great results. At ten years old, I competed at the Eastern Zone Short Course Championships. It was around the time when I began to swim competitively. Then bloomed my success in breaststroke. I reigned top in the state of NJ and jump the rankings towards the NAG list, placing as one of the top swimmers in the nation. Placing at Eastern Zones Championships, the State, and the Nation and my new training at Scarlet Aquatic Club, I think I would be a great addition to your college swim team!
