2022 Highlights
500 FreestyleHello, My name is Sebastian Bubrowiecki. I am a student athlete from Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn, NewYork. I started swimming at the age of 5 but I started competitively swimming at the age of 7. My first USA Swim Team was called Harbor Seals. Before Covid we would practice 6 days a week for at least 2 hours. As a an ambitious person I love to swim and compete. And I'm pretty sure most people could agree with me that winning is a big part we love swimming.
This year as a highschool student, back inside the school building, there were a lot of opportunities for me to become a better swimmer and most importantly a better student. I joined The National Honors Society which allowed me to participate and help with events, current world problems and donations. But all of this is truly preparing me to become the best captain that I can be for the boys varsity swim team. Having the most knowledge and being a helpful leader is a big factor in being Captain. I will always stand up for my teammates and I step up when times get tough. I always have a positive attitude even though things might not be going my way. These are only a few things I add to the table by being a teammate.
This year I started looking for colleges. My thought process was that I would like to find a school that I could swim at competitively and also get a good education. Some majors that I want to take are accounting and international business. The schools I am looking at are mainly DII or DI schools depending on which majors they offer.
