Connor Barnardo '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, I am Connor Barnardo, future Olympian and Engineer.  Perserverance, determination and drive are my strengths. An example would be my open water journey, when I started open water swimming, I was too afraid to get into the water and as of last year I represented South Africa at the FINA Junior World Open Water Championships in the Seychelles. I have never not finished a race.  What makes me different from other candidates is for my sport, I am more determined to achieve my goal than others are. I have trained extremely hard over the last 3 years and have qualified for the South African Junior Nationals for those 3 years. In terms of character, my favorite ways to describe mine are integrity, perseverance, passion and drive. For my academics, I will always do my best to meet my goals.
