I am a straight-A high-school student from Oregon working through an Early College Program at Portland Community College. I take college-level courses with a special focus on math, sciences and English. I am fluent in German, and I was a visiting student in Austria from 2019-2020. My primary professional goal is to become a physician. I am always working hard to achieve my personal goals in academics and sport. Competitive swimming has played a very important role in my life. In the pool I am among the first athletes to come to practice, and among the last to leave. I enjoy helping set up practices and swim meets. I'm always trying to be positive, a good teammate, a leader and a role model for the younger swimmers. I specialize in sprint events; my current time goals include going a 21.50 in my 50 free, and 46.00 in my 100 free. I carefully analyze all my races to find mistakes and opportunities to improve and to get better, and focus on those things in my training. My swimming is a constant work in progress, I enjoy it and I am motivated to get better. I am very interested to be a competitive swimmer in college.
