I am 2021 Senior, yet to commit to a college or college swim-team
I have been swimming for less than 4 years competitively, trying out for my local swim-team in Summer 2017.
In 3 years years, from that first tryout at VillaSport and during the two years swimming for my high school, my achievements are:
- 2 x 4A SCY 100 Breast State Champion - Sophomore (2019) and Junior (2020)
- 4A SCY 200 IM Silver Medalist (2020)
- 2019 OSI Arena LCM 100 Breast State Champion
- 2019 OSI Arena LCM 200 Breast Silver Medalist
- Top 5 Oregon Breast Stoker (2019 and 2020). Now ranked Number 3 on Swimmingrank.com.
- In addition I have taken part in Senior Sectionals, Futures, and have Spring Open Championships coming up in April.
- I have broken school and district meet records and hope to get a chance at a couple more if we are able to hold any school meets this year.
I switched from the VillaSport team to the Thunderbolts in Summer 2020 and the progress I have made under Coaches Franz Resseguie and Jon Hiett has changed and improved my swimming considerably.
Covid really had an unfortunate impact on my swimming last year, but now my motivation to achieve great results, determination to improve with each race, and my potential, having been swimming for a relatively short time, would make me a great recruit for the right team.
I have been swimming for less than 4 years competitively and I never swam previously. As my times prove, I have rapidly improved over a very short period of time. I love the sport and hope to continue swimming, hopefully at a Division 1 school. I am extremely dedicated and motivated to become and better athlete and person and would love to be given the opportunity to swim at a Division 1 school and continue my success and improvement. I have stuck with my training all throughout COVID and am continuing to post better and better times.
