Ever since I was a young five-year-old at my first swimming lesson I instantly fell in love with the water. I continued to swim for 12 years, and then competitively swim for 5, which made me love the atmosphere swimming provides. Yes, you get the thrill and the amazing feel of adrenaline from intense races, but swimming has taught me two important lessons. It has taught me to work as hard as you can, and understand how important your teammates are. People say that swimming isn't a team sport, I disagree. Without my teammates, I would find it hard to finish that last set or make that last interval, because of the lack of team spirit. A strong supportive team goes a long way.
