Joseph Schaefer '20 Recruiting Profile

I am passionate about swimming.  I fell in love with swimming when I made my first Junior Olympics at age 8 and have been swimming year-round since then.  I'm a  good student and I work really hard to get the grades that I have received.  My favorite meets are always the big ones: States in high school and NCSA Junior Nationals with my club team.  I am also actively involved in Boy Scouts and have attained the rank of Eagle Scout.   I love being a part of a team and especially love being on relay teams.  I am looking for a swim program where I can contribute and continue to grow both academically and athletically.  I also can't wait to be a part of a college swim program and experience swimming as a team sport!
