Carter Redelman '23 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for taking time out of your day and viewing my profile. My name is Carter Redelman and I have been swimming now for only three years. I started swimming during my freshman year of highschool just for fun, and now I worked my way up to a school record in the 100 yard backstroke. During the 2022 state championship meet, I helped my highschool reach success again earning a 7th place finish with only 4 qualified swimmers. I also qualified in the 100 fly, then again in the 100 & 200 backstroke for West Virginia's senior state meet. These accomplishments show me that I can compete on the college level and also make me want to improve even more. I continue to train everyday with my peers. My peers know me as a silly person who somehow continues to surprise them

Another important value of mine is school. With a 3.6 GPA, I was named to academic all conference and continue to work on school. I am still unsure on a major but there are certain options that sound better than others. Physical science and education are the two that stick out to me. I would contribute to your team with added team chemistry as well as a strong work ethic.
