Hadley Kukla '23 Recruiting Profile

Goals: I would like to play college tennis at a D1, D2 or D3 school.  My goal is to attend a University that fits me academically and athletically.  

I am a hard worker and strive to do my very best, which makes me a good team member and coachable. I look forward to the college tennis team environment, since I fully engage in the team aspect of tennis, as evidenced in my doubles record in the last year 11-3. Also the last two USTA team events my record was 11-5. I definitely enjoy and excel at doubles, however team singles is so much more conducive to success.

What makes me different:

1. I am already tall, strong and agile with good hands. 6'-4" at 17 years old. Likely will be as tall as my dad who is 6'-6" (played college basketball).
2. I attend Brophy College Prep, which is the top private high school in Arizona. A Jesuit high school  which only accepts 60% of applicants. I was accepted with distinction (top 10%).  Brophy College Prep  high school consistently is the state champ here in Arizona and for my sophomore year I have played #3 singles and  #1 doubles. Recently, my partner and I won the State Division 1 high school Doubles Championship and I was named Doubles player of the year as a Sophomore.
3. I have excellent grades in honors and AP classes with an unweighted GPA of 3.89 and weighted GPA of 4.26.
